Faith comes by hearing....

Updated: Nov 12, 2020

I feel now is a time that we really need to stir up our faith. In the Old Testament God heard the cries of the children of Israel as they were oppressed and in bondage. God had a plan to rescue, and prosper them. God's plan superseded their imagination. As they were being freed they were afraid, and some wanted to go back. Everything that God showed them was opposite of what they knew. They crossed the Red Sea supernaturally, food was provided supernaturally, their clothes were maintained supernaturally. God led the way with a cloud by day and a fire by night. As God was with the children of Israel, He is also with us. God has not forgotten about our prayers, prophesies, or His promises. Some of the things that happened to the children of Israel, can be paralleled in our history and life now. God also wants to supersede our greatest imagination. According to Isaiah 1:19, "If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land". God has heard the cries of His people now, it takes moving forward in faith. Focusing forward, and stirring up our faith is a must. Looking backwards slows down the process.

Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Praying God's word, taking inventory of what God has done in our lives in past times, and the testimonies of other's help to stir up faith. God's love is unconditional, unfailing, and proven to be true.
